Welcome to Tewahedo Orthodox Resources. By using our website (tewahedoresources.com) and mobile application ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Tewahedo Orthodox Resources provides digital liturgy, prayer, and study resources for the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, including a church directory, community features, and educational content.
3. User Accounts
You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
4. User Content & Contributions
You may contribute church listings, edits, and other content to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Service. All contributions are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
6. Intellectual Property
The liturgical texts, translations, and original content provided by the Service are made available for personal, non-commercial, educational, and devotional use. The app design, code, and branding are the property of Tewahedo Orthodox Resources.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any liturgical content, church information, or translations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tewahedo Orthodox Resources shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
